Jeff Sprung is a lawyer who represents whistleblowers in government fraud suits under the False Claims Act.  He is a partner in the Seattle office of the law firm Hagens Berman Sobol Shapiro.  Jeff became involved with the Hanford Challenge (actually, its predecessor, the Government Accountability Project) in the early 2000s, when he was recruited by Tom Carpenter to team up with fellow whistleblower lawyer, Jack Sheridan, to handle a fraud and retaliation suit against two private Hanford contractors on behalf of an accountant who worked at the Hanford Nuclear Reservation.  He recently successfully advocated for the Washington legislature to pass a False Claims Act for Washington state, so our State can recruit the help of whistleblowers to recover for government fraud.

Jeff’s professional bio can be found here.  His most recent opinion piece can be found here.
